This is a documentary on how the internet is used by everyone around the world, if it is not a places yet, it is getting there. There is a presenter who interviews very big people and takes their views on the internet. She interviews Bill Gate and he says that "how mankind communicate" here he is trying to say that the internet is the way how people communicate with each other. Then she interviews Sir Tim Berneis Lee, he is the inventor of the web. He thought of this idea and then gave it away for free because he thought it would change the world. He could have made unlimited amount of money from it because he invented something which is used by 2 billion people everyday. Later on in the documentary Al Gore says that "the internet is a empowering tool". The internet gives us an chance to challenge the authority. 

The internet allows people to post, publish, and give out any information for free, globally. Statistics show that 5 million people use the internet every month just in the UK and 40% of the men from that 5 million use the internet for pornography. 45 million people use wifi around the world every month. The well is something which created all the social networking sites. The well took everyone online. £1 billion is spent on the internet every week in the UK. 5 million are on dating websites. 18 million read blogs.

When people are on the web the government create their own rules and regulations because there is no one else in charge. August 6th 1991 was when the first website was launched. in 1993 Microsoft created internet explorer. Just before 1995's there was a source called Napstar who use to give out music out illegally because they thought it should be free. They got shut down in 2001 because they were illegal. 1/5 of contenet online now is created by user generated people, ordinary people.
