News sources...

1) E-media
http://www.youtube.com/user/SourceFed/videos

The news source tat i have found for e-media is an youtube channel called sourcefed. They are a youtube channel who provide videos about the news everyday. They make the news very short and simple, as the videos that they make have a very small duration around 2 minutes. In them 2 minutes they give information on 5 news reports of the day. They make it very attracting and funny as they put humour into it.
The traget audience for this channel would be young people aged 14-18 so the teenagers. The reason why i think that this is the target audience for the channel is because they are doing this to inform the children out their. children hate watching the news, and this it is news but in a much different way for the children to adapt it. I think sourcefed is really engaging with its audience.
The impact of this on new and digital media would be that, people are doing these channels for free, so why would people pay for sky when they can get their news on this channel for free. The only thing is that this only appeals to a younger audience. It also shows how advanced new/digital media has become because before there was no such thing like this that people would be giving out free news like this.

2) Print
http://www.standard.co.uk/

This is an newspaper website, so the very famous newspaper which is given for free outside London tube stations. It is called the London evening standards and it contains loads of daily news about London in the newspapers itself. If you go on their website they would have loads of stories for around the world. The newspaper is a really good paper as it brings in loads of great news for the day. I think loads of people pick up that newspaper everyday as it is given for free. The only way the company can make money is by the advertisements in the newspaper. This newspaper has a wide range of audience from 22 to 45+ the reason why i think that is because all those people who go to office on the tube and they would read it. Even though there are people on tubes over that age but they wont pick this up as most of them would read the guardian.
The impact of this on new/digital media would be that most people would read it on their smartphones, i don't think their newspapers are as popular in today's days as everyone using the internet to get their news.

3) Broadcast

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/

BBC news are a free commercial broadcasters they broadcast on TV, Radio and on their website. They have two different times when news comes on, the first one is at 6pm and the other one is at 10pm both of them are national news and start after when they finish local news comes up. They are a really big commercial service who's remit is to inform, entertain and educate. I personally think that they follow their remit as well. BBC reports says that over 97% of UK's population on average spend 19 hours a week consuming BBC services online, TV and Radio.  I think the BBC have a wide range of audience because of the services they provide, they also have loads of different things for all aged people.
