-Iran June 2009- presidential election - Protesters tweeted everything which happened to get the information out to the world about what was happening because any media institution who tried recording what was happening got arrested.
-First 18 days 2 million tweets send out of Iran
Wikileaks- Allowed people to anonymously blow their whistle on the government.
